Our powder room and Mudroom renovation combines the warmth and character of natural stone with the durability and versatility of porcelain tiles. The stone look tiles selected for this project emulate the intricate textures and organic variations found in authentic stone, creating a sophisticated backdrop that exudes style and sophistication. These two spaces are small - roughly measuring 2.4x1 for the powder room and 2.4x2.2 for the mudroom. We had to think outside of the square to give these rooms a wow factor and this all came down to the tile combinations for each and of course the hero of the room - The Tiled Vanity.
From the moment you step into the powder room, you'll be captivated by the rich, earthy tones and tactile surfaces that invite you to linger and unwind. The veining and shading of the stone look tiles add depth and dimension to the space, running all the way up to the tiled vanity/basin. This was completely customised with the help of our build team and the knowledge of Ethan at Cutting Edge Tiling NZ. The structured finish of these porcelain slabs reflects light beautifully, creating a sense of texture and warmth.
In addition to their stunning visual appeal, our stone look tiles are also incredibly practical and low-maintenance, making them perfect for high-traffic areas like the powder room. Their non-porous surface resists moisture, stains, and scratches, ensuring long-lasting beauty and easy cleaning for years to come.
Our tiles used in this project : Goldie 600x1200 , Plaster Look Bianco 400x800, Artisan beige 50x150, Ravielo 200x200 Plain and ravielo 200x200 Structured.
