Introducing The Viola Edit — our very own studio kitchen, designed to showcase how bold material choices can transform a space while still feeling timeless and inviting.

Created in collaboration with The Kitchen People, this space is a true meeting of craftsmanship and creativity. Together, we reimagined the heart of our studio — a place where we meet clients, explore textures, and bring design ideas to life.

The hero of the design is the Calacatta Viola splashback, a statement marble-look porcelain that commands attention with its rich plum veining and natural movement. Paired with plum-toned handcrafted subways along the side wall, the palette feels warm, confident, and contemporary — a perfect reflection of The Tile Room’s design ethos.

Balancing the boldness, the large-format geometric floor tiles introduce subtle pattern and tone, grounding the space with a soft, modern edge. Timber cabinetry and brushed hardware add warmth and tactility, while every finish has been selected to feel both lived-in and elevated.
