The Deco House
We had the pleasure of working with Maiko Nagao, one of the most amazing NZ artists. Maiko and I threw together our creative brains and came up with the stunning layout plan and tile choice for their main bathroom.

In the main bathroom, to ensure the room felt large and open we carried the floor tile up the back wall of the bath, accompanying it with a rustic subway tile. This gave the illusion of an elongated space that carried the focal point to the ceiling.
When it came to the kitchen splash back, We sourced the tile for Maiko specifically. This wasn’t an easy persuasion and Maiko felt nervous for how bold this tile was, but she now admits she would’ve regretted it if we didn’t use it, and it’s now one of her favourite elements in the home.
It harboured the perfect colours that was already displayed throughout Maiko’s kitchen - warm earthy hues, this feature tile the “Blancs 600x1200” looked like it was custom made for this space.
